Koricancha: A religious center known as “the Temple of the Sun” which emphasized the amazing engineering used in its construction and many painting of Santo Domingo life can be appreciated.

Sacsayhuaman: Located 3 K.m. from Cusco, it’s an amazing construction of monumental stones and with an excellent architecture. It has the shape of a Andean feline, the puma of Cusco City; this archaeological center has the shape of a feline head.

Qenqo: It’s a ritual and ceremonial center; it was an amphitheater in which animal sacrifices were carried out in all the festivities of the year.

Pucapucara Fortress: Located 1 km. from Tambomachay Archaeological Center. It means red fortress because of the red color that has the land in that place. Pucapucara – Ancient Tambo, vigilance post along the Inka trails.

Tambomachay: Located 7 km from Cusco, ceremonial center used to worship the water, known traditionally as the waters place.
